My bad, bad, very bad experience...

Hello guys,

i'll recount you my experience and i hope anyone can help me..

About 1 years ago i bought this pc: [Intel Q9550, Asus striker 2 formula, 3 Hard Disk (an barracuda, a kingstone and another one), NVIDIA GTX 275, 8 gb of RAM DDR2 kingstone (2*4 blocks @ 1066mhz latency 5-5-5-15 Voltage about 2.30), Small wather cooler (CoolIT DOMINO A.L.C), 5 fans, a power pack of 750W, an internal PCI-EXPRESS wireless adapter].

For some time i've played with it: some overclock, some overvolt, benchmark and other, but never seriously.

About 4 months ago, i decided to do a seriously overclock: i've locked the processor at 3.61 Mhz (daily use) and the rams at 797 mhz (4-4-4-15) with a very excellent love temperature emissions (idle 40 degrees, at work about 60);

've reinstalled windows they has reported only one CPU-core: i've tried to re-install the bios but the problem is persisting: only one (no, now two) core is avaiable; if i load the default settings the sistem see all the 4 cores, but that (the system) isn't stable under any overclock: at ram 1066 (5-5-5-15) and processor 3,41 Everest tell me an error on test the cache, and sometimes the system going to freeze or show me an BSOD, i don't know how-to come back... it's frustrating...

Tried clearing the bios using the jumper?
and make sure there is no option in the bios that is only allowing one core

all options in the bios, such as "enhanced C1E" and "hyperthreading" and "disable bit" are set to disable, "loadline calibration" and all of cores are set to "enable"... but there's a lot of options

I've cleaned the thread. Please discuss his overclocking issue, and not OSX.
