Overclocking ATI HD 5650

Thread Starter
New to overclocking, aware of the risks involved but I want to squeeze more performance out of my video card. I have the proper cooling (arctic silver + cooling pad).

I downloaded the MSI Afterburner and unlocked it, but the only editable settings are core clock and memory clock. I tried increasing these two sliders but when I hit apply, they revert back to the default. Should I try a different program?

I have an HP Envy 14"; Intel Core i5 M480 2.67 GHZ, 4GB RAM, ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650.

THanks in dadvance for your help!

since your graphics card is an OEM part, it may not be able to be overclocked past stock clocks. sorry to disappoint.
