Thread Starter
I was wondering how many of you guys buy keys off the TF2 store. Is it worth it to pay the $2.50 price tag? You can reply justifying your reason as to why or why not.

The underlying reason for this poll is for a statistics project I'm working on for school. But I really am curious as to how many people buy keys smile.gif

Thanks guys! biggrin.gif

I would never pay real money for keys. I always trade metal for keys.
When they first came out me and a friend bought about 5 I think. I opened two crates got crap he opened two crates got an unusual Tyrants helm with Sunbeams. Ever since then I haven't bothered buying any. If I ever feel like wasting items on a gamble I'll trade hats or metal for keys. I have regretted ever using keys, I would have been better off trading them off or keeping my items.

At this point, no it's not worth it.

I only voted yes because i have.

We did it at a lan party. We pooled some money, and opened a ton of crates

For TF2, buying in-game items is really stupid in my honest opinion.

Buying keys for Mann. Co crates in TF2 = Gambling away all of your cash.

No. Hats and tags don't change the gameplay.

You can get all the weapons by idling/playing long enough. Or crafting.
