While I personally have not listened to them, I see what everyone else says on the forum. If so many people notice it, then I just take that as yea, the DX is actually better.
The only person on these forums that I constantly see say otherwise is Cuad. In a previous thread, he got in an argument with some other people about the very issue
Truthfully, maybe Cuad really doesn't notice, and Cuad I don't mean this in a bad way, but I think you are just an outlier when it comes to the grand scheme of things.

The majority just seem to think that the DX really is better, especially if you get great headphones.

Hey, I just got the Harx 700. Out of the box, the bass sounds great. Sound is kinda balanced. Highs are a bit lacking, but no burn in happened yet.

They also feel comfortable to me, of course I also have a smaller head, and the headphones feel real good. The pleather ear cups feel great to me.

Thread Starter
Thanks for your input everyone.
I'll probably just stick with the DG for now. If I decide I want to upgrade, I'll save up for an ST.
The only problem now is that I have to remove my wireless PCI card and punch a hole through my wall, oh well.
