Asus P8P67 Problems

Thread Starter
I noticed that this board gives a lot of problems.

If you type in google or just look at the threads that are posted on this forum you will see that this board does double boots, sometimes doesnt boot and like ram issues with keeping it at 1600 and making it 1333 etc. I know that they are working on it and trying to update the bios.

What do you guys think. How was your experience. Any ways you worked around it.

I really want this board.

Thanks.

I would just RMA it back and get another one, if possible of course. I have tried several ASUS boards and have had many problems for both AMD and Intel platforms.

My P8P67 deluxe double boots as well. I didn't have any RAM issues, but I can't figure out what is causing the double boot. Other than that, it works great.

I have not had a single problem with this new mobo, my first p8p67 pro was doa so that doesn't count. It's either a combination of bad ram or bios related issue when it comes to diagnosing a problem with the mobo, unless it's doa. My RAM plays very well, no double post, stock runs 1600mhz just fine, this is a solid board.

I love this board I really do. I just don't want to go through all theses problems.

MY main reason also is I would love to have a mac on one of my ssd with this board because there compatiable.

Any work arounds you found or tweaks?

Also munaim1 did you have to change anything in the bios to get the ram working? because I know that sometimes the bios keeps it at 1333 when its suppose to be 1600 but you oced it. Have you tried the new bios 1606 or should i also just keep it at 1502.
