Hey
2 days ago i bought 4GB's ram to my PC (2x2gb, kingston 667mhz, i already had 2x1GB kingston 667 - so now its 6gb.)
I had old XP 32bits i reinstalled it into a Win7 home basic. And now is the problem, everything was fine, i installed all drivers, games, etc.

Ive been using PC for a couple hours. I turned off my PC and when i came back its not booting.

It freezes on PCI Devices Listing screen.

Ive already tried reseting BIOS, changing HDD priority, etc etc, nothing helps.
Uncle google.com isnt helping at all also.

I will be greatfull for any advices what to do now.
Shall i bring my PC to a "service", or maybe i can fix it by myself?

Try to remove the 2x2GB memkit. If that solves the problem, go into bios and set mem timings manual. Try 667 5-5-5-15. Also try and put the Static tRead Value to 8. Save and exit. Then try to install those 2x2GB again.

Pull out the 2x 1GB sticks and run only the 2x 2GB sticks.

Heres a thread for your Mobo.

well, actually ive done every single combination of memkits in every of my 4 slots. been doing it last night.
anyway, im gonna try again. ill be back soon with results.

EDIT

ok, i tried pulling out 2x2gb memkits - nothing.
i tried pulling out 2x1gb memkits- nothing.

any other ideas?

EDIT2

forgot to add.
last night after fighting with ram slots and memkits, after couple resets, my PC booted correctly.
well, almost correctly. Windows7 started correctly, ive seen the pulpit, i could use applicatons, everything was fine. but when after dunno, 2-3 mins i left room and went back all ive seen was a clear pulpit with mouse icon.

EDIT3
no idea, it does matter, but the PCI Devices Listing is hanging on ACPI Controller.
