no and no

if you want frio go with the old one->
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?...ducts_id=14111
it seems that old one is better than OCK

best coolers:
D14 and SA

and then I would go with:
Archon
venomoux X - black edition
noctua NH-U12P SE
prolimatech Super mega
prolimatech armaggedon
Frio (old one)

The Frio is not bad, but your getting far from D14 and Silver Arrow territory for the same price. The second one, blah.

What do you think of this? Has some pretty good reviews so far. Not New Egg dont read those.

Also that one Frio is much cheaper at the Egg with free shipping too.

Frio looks like it'll perform well enough (looks like a Megahalems when opened), but that SpinQ looks pretty weak. Aesthetics, it looks cool anyway, but that's it.

i was thinking of the venomoux X - black edition but i think putting fans on it would ruin the look.

what about the corsair h 50, 60 ,70 series

D14 and SA are better than corsair hybrids...you need really highr RPM fans (2500+) on corsair to beat D14 and SA

well venomous X + enermax tb silence fans and you have nice setup

My recommendations would be:

Prolimatech Genesis
http://www.prolimatech.com/en/produc...id=803#showtab

Prolimatech Megahalems Rev.B
http://www.prolimatech.com/en/produc...id=409#showtab

Prolimatech Armageddon
http://www.prolimatech.com/en/produc...id=415#showtab

Thermalright Archon (my fav)
http://www.thermalright.com/products...t_id=27&id=172

Thermalright Silver Arrow
http://www.thermalright.com/products...d=96&cat_id=27

Noctua NH-D14
http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=p...4&lng=en&set=1

All the above are top coolers, you can't go wrong with any of them. If you want silence, go for the top air coolers, they can work fanless or with inaudible, slow spining fans that will be so silent you won't even know their on.

Performance is your goal. You will be disappointed with coolers that are not the best, and you will then buy the best. Why waste money? Buy the best now.

Silver Arrow is the best cooler for the least cost and lowest noise. The Noctua NH-D14 cools almost as well, but is louder and more expensive. If you have tall RAM heatsinks: with Dominators you can remove the useless coxcombs with a screwdriver; with others you can remove the useless tall heatsinks and replace them with cheap generic low profile heatsinks.

My vote goes for the Silver Arrow if you want to "go with the flow".

That being said, if you want something slightly different, something that not a whole lot of people have, but still performs on par with the SA, I'd recommend the Thermalright Archon. The thing is a absolute beast. Even with two of Thermalright's premium 14cm fans, I cannot hear the fans even at full speed.

Personally, I like it because it stays well clear of the RAM slots - so when you do need to upgrade to more RAM, the bigger coolers like the SA or the NH-D14 will probably block those slots. Even if there is enough clearance between the RAM slot and the cooler, installing more DIMMs would be a nightmare, involving you to remove the cooler every time you want to put in a RAM stick.

The Archon on the other hand, doesn't even come close to those slots, it provides enough space between itself and the RAM slots so that you can actually install RAM without the hassle of it blocking anything.
The only thing to be aware of of is its height. Its slightly taller than most other coolers and slightly more wide as well. But assuming you're sticking it in that Level 10, it should e fine.
