Best CPU cooler around $50 or under for 2500K?

I'm thinking of getting a new CPU cooler. Are there any stand-out performers for around $50 or less that I should look at?

The Hyper 212 Plus can be had for almost half that but might be the best value of any air cooler. Definitely a nice little one to take a look at.

has been shown by tom's hardware to be the best bang for the buck. The only downside is that it has to be installed outside of the case

Charts: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/...k,2535-14.html

edit: its the scythe mugen 2 rev.B

I second this, personally very happy with it (even if I'm not on Sandy Bridge), can get my 930 to 3.9 GHz without a problem and with max temps at like 73 Celsius after a couple of hours of Prime 95. You know, for something you paid 25 bucks...

everyone will probably say the 212 but the a70 is always overlooked, but yet it gives slightly better temps than the 212

How does the h50 perform compared to scythe mugen 2 or any other good air coolers?
