Now that I've had time to do my proper research, I can definitely conclude that I made a good purchase, but I'm still wondering if this will be a powerful enough card that I can hold on to for the next couple years. What do you guys/gals think?
I see that this is a more subjective question, but I just wanted some input from y'all! I plan on upgrading to Sandy Bridge soon, since my slightly-OC'd q9400 holds back some of the glory.
Just like EVERYTHING, the GTX 560 Ti will last as long as it can handle what you throw at it.
If you think you're going to be playing the same games right now in about 2 years, then you'll be fine. However if you want to play the most graphically advanced game every time one gets released, you may want to get a 580.
My 460 can handle everything I throw at it right now, so I won't be upgrading unless BF3 needs to. Because I'll be playing that a ton when it comes out.
