New build- what mobo?

Thread Starter
I would like in my build:

4GB (2x2GB) Corsair Vengeance DDR3 PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 9-9-9-24, XMP, 1.50V - £38.40

Intel Core i5*2400, Socket 1155,*Sandy Bridge, Quad Core, 3.1GHz, GPU 850Mhz, 6MB Cache, 95W, Retail - £140.00

Sapphire Xtreme Radeon HD5850 - £99.95

What mobo do you recommend?
I'm on a budget, ideally around the £100 mark sounds good.
USB3.0 would be nice.
SATAII minimum- don't have any particular need for SATAIII (yet).

Would like it to be fairly future-proof if possible. Something I can upgrade on.

[I've also posted this in the Intel Mobo section. I don't really know much about mobo's so figured I've no preference as to whether it's Intel or AMD. Hope that's okay ]

I would recommend an Intel mobo seeing as they are the only ones that will actually support your CPU. More specifically I would recommend a P67 or Z68 chipset because even if yoou won't be overclocking (which is severly limited on the CPU you have chosen) then at least resell values would be better and you keep the option for upgrading to a CPU that can overclock. Speaking of which why don't you check out how much more the i5 2500k would be for you, it is a very good value for the money and they cheapest SB CPU that has unlocked overclocking, also practically the fastest gaming CPU available. What do you expect to be using this computer for?

MSI P67A-G45 fits your budget and requirements. I also suggest you don't get an outdated Radeon 5850.
