Hi guys. So about 2 months ago I upgrade my moms old ibm computer(kept the case, psu and dvd drive and replaced everything else). The mobo is a biostar a880g+, cpu is amd athlon x2 250, corsair 4gb 1333, seagate 500 gb, and a sapphire hd 4650. The comp was working excellent till a few days back until everything started to become really slow. I dont quite know what the problem is. Could it be the old ibm case not recieving enough cooling, I mean it was working fine for a month. One thing I noticed was a difference in the cpu temperature on amd overdrive. It use to be 20 degrees on each core and now its around 42 degrees. Could that be the problem for the computer lag ive been experiencing? If so, what can be a solution to this problem, what do you guys recommend? Could there be another problem besides the cpu temp? Thanks for your help!
