I'd like some help with a voltage question..
I have Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 CL8 4GB and Im currently running

Everything is stable but I wanted to push the fsb to 250mhz, since I cant use the XMP profile's since Im overclocking and the ram wont hold stable over 1600 I wanted to underclock it to 667mhz but I dont know which voltage to use, 1.5v or 1.65v?

That's because the c2 processors have trouble running at 1600. I have to run my ram at 1333 but I tightened the timings to 5-6-5-16. Phenom IIs actually perform better at lower timings. Best benches on pIIs are with 1333 cl5. And that will beat 1600 at cl7 any time. You can probably run at 1333 at cl6 which will beat 1600 at cl8.

Well thats good to know, so what about voltage though? The reason I ask is there is a second XMP profile that shows 667@1.65v I cant post the pic cuz it only shows up under Everest and my trial period expired tongue.gif But I dont want to damage the ram by running it at 1.5 667 if its supposed to be at 1.65.

I suggest you run it at 1.65v 1333Mhz and start to lower the timings,
I got my 1333Mhz 1.65v CL9 kit to run at 1333Mhz CL7 1.5v, these RAM sticks are great for lowering timings.

Use manual timings if board allows. You may get more clocks out of it by manually tweaking timings.
Go on Corsair website and see how much does it take ,then start you timings tweak.
You can go on Corsair forums and ask as well.
The voltage may be shown on the sticker from the RAM stick. My XMS 2 had it.
LE:1,65V should be possible with no problems.

Would it damage it if I tried 667@1.5v? Or would it just not post?

undervolting RAM can't damage it, only going over 1.75v may.
These kits can handle up to 1.75/1.8v IIRC

You'll be fine at whatever voltage up to at least 1.75V. At worst the RAM would be unstable, you can reset the CMOS and try again.
