Nvidia gave me Aion for free? - Page 2

That's really cool. I didn't realize Nvidia had a newsletter or else I would have signed up earlier.

Edit: Here's the newsletter sign up if anyone is interested: http://www.nvidia.com/content/subscr...newsletter.asp

I entered the code, and its asking me to make a sub plan, is there a way around this, I only want to do the 15 day trial to see what the game is like.

Hi guys anyone else have spare keys? I did not receive that newsletter, I did send off to Nvidia inquiring about it, but I doubt they will just give me one

considering normally you have to pay for the game, its not a "hoax" so to speak

The game MSRP retails for $29.99

The Aion® game client is a free gift. NCsoft® needs your credit card information to set up a game account subscription. Your account will not be charged for the free game or the 15 days of game time. If you continue to play, you will be charged the subscription rate you selected. If you cancel your subscription before the end of the 15 days of game time, you will not be charged for a subscription
That is from the email, and from what I have seen I think that you can play 15 days with out any costs. I also looked up how to cancel the subscription:

- Log into your account at, ncsoft.com
- Go to the, "Billing Summary"
- Select, "Cancel Billing"

What I want to know is if the 15 days are actually solid gameplay days or just 15 days trial. Anyone know?

This is how this works. You do need to enter your credit card info before playing, but you WILL get 15 days free. Basically if you do not cancel the account after the 15 days you will enter into reoccurring billing cycles of $15/mth.

Awesome . Does it count the '15 days game time' as the time when you type /age or /playtime or whatever in game?

15 calendar days from when you sign up.

So if you sign up today, your gametime will be up on 6/14/11.
