Need a new mouse and pad

Thread Starter
I clawgrip and play with low sensi.
I want a highly durable high friction mousepad.
I don't need extra buttons or high dpi or anything like that.

Thinking about getting a WMO and a supermat or allsop raindrop xl for the pad.

Let me know.

That's a great combo that should fit your needs. I can vouch for the supermat being high friction, used it at lan once and hated it after being accustomed to slick mousepads for years. Just go with it.

What about the IME? It's got more buttons and ergonomic design, I think I'd prefer that over the WMO. Most likely more comfortable, and thumb buttons will be nice.

OP uses a claw grip. The IME is a palm mouse.

It's great it in its own right if you're a palm gripper. Otherwise if you just want the side buttons it's much better to get an IMO instead.

Yeah I'll most likely be getting the WMO, but the supermat apparently has a bad smell to it judging from the reviews off amazon, so I might just go with the allsop raindrop xl. Does anyone have the allsop raindrop? I've heard mix reviews of it saying it's very slippery and other saying it has lots of friction.

You might like the Mionix Sargas 460. It seems to have a little higher friction than the QCK and a lot more friction than the Talent. I've not had mine that long, nor used it that much, so I can't comment on the durability, but it seems to be well-made.

I'm reconsidering some things since new games come out -
and low dpi like 400 might not be enough at high resolutions.

What do you guys think of the zowie mico, cm spawn, and the abyssus?

Mico isn't out yet but the shape looks interesting.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/sei2e_t...7626586668391/ pics of it.

Which mouse is the best for clawgrip right now?

Also for mousepads, I've seen positive things about the artisan hien. I wouldn't mind a good glide if it is very durable and has nice quality.

What would you recommend?
I have the Artisan Shiden-Kai Mid mousepad. Took only 16 days from Japan to GA to be delivered. It feels like a cloth mousepad due to its softness, but it glides really quickly on my G9 and Kone[+]. It has some sort of glass coating on its surface to make mice glide quickly on it, not a lot of friction unlike typical cloth mousepads.
