I am extreamly sorry for the hold up, i have had to go out yesterday but i did however do it this morning the Thumb screws on my pcie are very smooth, but not tight, except for the very first time where they are extra tightened to stop rattling or screws loosening in transit. just use a screwdriver first time and then everything is ok

I never had to use a screwdriver on any of my thumb screws.
really? hmm my thumb screws for the pci slots are the same as the ones used to hold the sides of the case, is that the same for you?
Yea all my screws are the same. I just never had to use a screwdriver to do anything on my case.

Except maybe the mobo screws I put in just to make sure they were tight. Maybe they just slacked on my screws.

when i mean tight, i mean tight enough that the slot covers dont rattle , i can get it thumb tight but it wont really button everything down. Am i expecting too much? My old case was an acrylic open air case so i never dealt with thumb screws

Are your Slot covers rattling even when the screws are tightened?
