Question about this motherboard

Thread Starter
Well i was going to go for an MSI P67 board, the MSI P67A-G43 (B3) to be exact, but I was told to stay away from MSI boards because of their power phases I also noticed instead of an 8 pin connector, it's a 4pin for the MSI board, is that where the "4+1 power phase" comes in? Well I"ve been looking at this biostar board, http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-317-_-Product and I really like it but i'm curious it's the first motherboard i've seen to need a 24 pin connector and TWO 8 pin power connectors. Do i need both 8 pins filled to power the board?

The "4+1 power phase" comes from the actual vrm's around the CPU.

The extra 8 pin on that Biostar board is probably for a more stable CPU OC.
