Can't see some coupters on network. - Page 2

Instead of going through all that, why not try Static Routing on both the routers? If you know a little basic networking it should be easy. I set it up so that i can connect to my Verizon Router and it works

The issue with using the WAN ports is that you're implementing another layer of PAT. Router 2 will get an external DHCP address from Router 1's DHCP pool, but then route all of it's LAN traffic (192.168.1.x) through that singular 'external' IP address. Therefore, unless explicitly port forwarding, you will not be able to contact individual clients behind this extra NAT/PAT layer from other devices in router 1's subnet.

It's quite similar to anyone's home setup, router 1's LAN is acting as the 'Internet' so to speak with regards to router 2 by having router 2 use it's WAN port for the uplink.

Op if your still fighting with the issue do a ipconfig /all from 2 computers thats unable to see each other.
