I currently have the dell u2711 and im not very impressed with it;s gaming performance. I play a competitive game which every ms matters.. u2711 is a great monitor for movies and my 3d modeling applications but... anyways,
im keeping the u2711 but for gaming i need something different. perhaps 120hz panel.

any recommendations?

If you play@120Hz, you'll need to output greater than or equal to 120FPS@that resolution....in order to avoid tearing and to fully utilize your the 120Hz monitor.

Lowest response time + highest refresh rate. Don't worry about resolution or screen size, those are secondary.

The Alienware AW2310 is a great 120Hz option and has the same OSD as the U2711.
