First overclock, please help

Thread Starter
Hi guys,
this is my first time at a over clock but been doing a lot of research on forums etc,

first off:
My Machine Spec:

MSI H55 P31 Board
I5 650 3.2 mhz
Ram: 4 x 4gb Apacer 1333mhz
Video: Nvidia GTX 460 1gb oc
Sigma Aegis Gaming Case http://www.sigmaproduct.com/
Cooling: Cooler Master V6 GT
1000w Cougar gold power supply
Ok cables all neaten and out of play using cable sleeve and heat shrink

ok, i get the basics about lower the multi and up the FSB, but i wanna find out what is the safe recommended heat in Ferrenheit for my CPU and voltage and also for the ram. And is there is any other info you guys can give me i would appreciate it. Ram i would like it to run standard at 1333mhz, dont think it can handle a OC but i wanna try OC the I5. just want a stable OC for it when it comes to heat and Voltage.

Thanks
Iceman Out

If i'm wrong in any way, please correct me with any statements i made above

WHY DID NOBODY HELP THIS GUY

Overclock.net is being fail right now. I'll help.

I wouldn't go above 75-80*c~ on the CPU, and I wouldn't go above 1.45v on the CPU.
Loosen the RAM:FSB strap so the ram isn't running at rated speeds. Also loosen up the timings just a bit, if you dont want to lower your strap, and overclock like that.

ok followed the instructions to the letter and i get it to about 3.6ghz but dram timings are out. with me adjusting the timings are it runs at like 1400 odd mhz and not 1333 mhz, also if i set my CPU VTT voltage to exactly 1.4 then my MB tells me that is not recommended, even at 3.6ghz it sits at 1.443 but stable, i cant get it to over 4ghz, any help. Maybe a step by step guide if anyone has one
