that's probably under Furmark and with an overclocked i7.

This is more representative of typical gaming use.
This^ for that PSU, a 5850 will be fine.

And if a GTX 460 is fine then a GTX 560 is similarly fine I would imagine? With those or a 5850 that's some serious graphical power options open to the OP.

Seeing as you've got a i5-2400 and no way to overclock it, I'd say even higher than the GTX 460 / GTX 560 / HD 5850 people have been saying. Those GPUs are at or a bit above 160W draw. An i5-2400 stock takes like 60W full CPU load. The typical recommendation for a CX430 for a GTX 460 system may take into account a CPU that draws a lot more power than that. With just one hard drive and presumably not a million high-speed fans, we're probably looking at no more than around 100W draw from +12V for everything other than the GPU.

Given the CX430's +12V capacity, I think there's room reasonably for up to 200W from the GPU, so include the HD 6870, GTX 560 Ti, and HD 6950 (stock clocks, no unlock) as well.
