More problems with my 6970s

Well the driver reinstall only temporarily fixed the flickering issue, i know crossfire is causing the problem but when i went from catalyst 11.5 to 11.4 it stopped and now i turn on my pc this morning and its doing it again, the only game it does not flicker in is Battlefield Bad Company 2. It flickers in Mafia II, GTA: IV, Crysis 2, Crysis 1, TF2, and every Splintercell game i own. No drivers are fixing my problems and it has to be the drivers because i know that Mafia II supports crossfire. The only way to fix the flickering is to disable crossfire and i did not pay $783 to only use one of my cards. So any ideas would be very appreciated:)

Edit: i think its only games that do not support dx11 because all the games that support dx11 work fine

Off topic:Should have got the 580's like i originally was going to, i have never had this many problems with AMD cards before:(

I know this isn't the solution you are looking for, but it is a soloution.

I had the same problems with crossfire, running driver sweeper to remove old drivers, downloading CAP1 and 2 and they still were messed up. So I returned them both and bought a 6990 and this runs faultlessly.

Sorry to hear you are having so many problems, just like I was too.

I had the same issues with a pair of 6970's as well. You will note that they are no longer in my sig rig...

I had paired GTX580's as well and found they were not problem free in BC2 either. So far my best gameplay experience with BC2 has been with a single GTX580.

Crossfire / SLI has always been a double edged sword. It works great, but not all of the time.
