More problems with my 6970s - Page 2

Maybe install/uninstall the drivers the way AMD recommends, instead of using 3rd party software to remove them, which they clearly don't recommend, then blaming AMD? lol

I've had ati/amd cards for a few years now, and i uninstall them normally, use the device manager to delete any save remnents (where applicable) and do a reg clean. And so far to date, i've not had any trouble with my drivers that i can think of.

Its coincidence that everytime i see a thread about amd driver trouble, they say something like "i did it right, used driversweeper after"? lol just thought this worth a mention, take it whatever way you like ^^

i have done that but i always have the best results with driver sweep because it completely wipes it from your pc like it was never there, and its more of a crossfire support driver issue, the cards work perfectly as single cards

I dont know if you're mean to or not, but I put two crossfire bridges across my cards when I installed them (2 x Asus cuII 6970s) which resulted in the same flickering. Taking one off resolved it. (I don't read manuals)
