3rd SSD not detected after backup

I recently bought a new SSD after running out on space on the original 2 SSD Raid 0 config. I backed everything up onto a separate HDD using windows backup. However after the backup, when I went to My Computer to check how much space was added, it showed exactly the same amount of space I had previously instead of the extra 80gb. Here is the sequence in which I did everything.

1] Windows Backup onto HDD.
2] Test backup on old config of 2 80gb SSDs in Raid 0. Perfectly fine.
3] Using Raid Bios, reset both disks to non-raid, thus removing all data (did this for Step 2 before testing as well).
4] Shut computer down, all external cables disconnected.
5] Added 3rd 80gb SSD into hotswap bay.
6] Get into Raid Bios, 3rd SSD is detected and all SSDs are added into Raid 0 config, 64kb Strip (so technically my computer does notice the new changes).
6] Double check Bios. All SSDs in same group.
7] Insert Windows 7 CD to get into backup.
8] Using HDD system image, restored everything into new Raid 0 config without any partitions whatsoever (no partitions in previous config as well).
9] OH MAN WHERE'D ALL MY SPACE GO.

Question - What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

I remember read somewhere image backup/restore on SSD requires a capable program due to different aligments. You should build array then do a fresh install of OS.

Solution:
Wipe initial backup & manually move important files into the newly wiped drive. Download all the latest drivers online (motherboard, graphics, sound. everything) and move to drive as well. From there I simply wiped my Raid 0, re-did all my raid configs & partitions and performed a clean install of windows. Everything detected and working.
