Notice that the RX360 only claims to be capable of cooling a multi-core CPU, not that plus 2 high-wattage GPUs.

Personally, I'd get an extra 240XT rad ($60) for the GPUs, run CPU -> kit rad -> GPUs -> 240XT -> reservoir and that should suffice. Sure, it's ADDING to the cost not subtracting, but it'll save you some frustration in having to take the setup apart and pay shipping twice when you realize that the single rad won't cut it.
In the 6990 club there a guy running a RX360 kit with a i7 870 @4.0, 6990 and 6970 Tri-fire with just a RX360 His GPU's would load around 60c.
I run my loop Rez/Pump -> RX360 -> CPU -> RX120 -> 6990 -> Rez/Pump. He's only trying to cool 2 5850's, And there no where as hot as 6990 or 6970's.

So an RX360 + RX120 will suffice? No need for RX360 + RX240?

Doesn't look like you can get it any cheaper. Probably the cheapest new loop I've seen that'll be decent.

If you can fit RX360 + RX240 go for it. I could only fit RX360 + RX120 in my HAF 932, And I didn't want Rads hanging off my case But I see no reason a RX360 + RX120 wouldn't cool your set up when it cools my setup just fine. My 6990 is way hotter then 2 5850's.

If you run 1500rpm fans the RS and RX series perform similarly since the RS series has higher FPI. Could cut some money there.

With the RX you can run lower rpm fans, And get the same temp's but it will be almost silent. Which is nice

Ah, but what if I run high performance fans on RX rads?

I really don't mind noise, I'm getting a fan controller anyways.

Oh also, I don't know if I can fit a 240 rad in the bottom of a HAF X next to the PSU. Once I get the case I will do some measuring to see if it can fit. If not I'll probably just add an RX120 later.

I run Gentle Typhoon AP-15 1850 RPM in push, Running anything more won't really get you more then 2c lower temps from what I have seen

I have non-reference 5850s.
