The power of many cards beyond that, including a GTX460 will be sadly under-utilized unless you're planning on playing at resolutions in the 1900x1200 range or higher.

The GTX260 will shine at 1680x1050 and below - like a bucket full of gold at the end of an Irish rainbow.
again I'm not sure how a 260 will fare on a 300W PSU - it uses around 170W full load, compared to the 105W or so that a GTS 450 uses. And the two cards are fairly evenly matched performance-wise (although the 260 will be cheaper). I thought the reference 260s were 10.5" cards too - which won't fit.

I think the only options are a GTS450, GT 240, 5750 or 5670 - choice depending on budget, availability and how hard you want to push your PSU.

Amusing how some members are trying to be considerate of OP's situation and others are just jumping in without much reading.

Sub-Zer0:
Since you seem to have understood that your power supply's capability and Dell's case dimension are the major restrictions here, you better go with what some like the_beast have been suggesting: a card powerful enough without requiring additional power from the PSU. A Radeon HD5670 or GeForce GT240 will be better than that guy's HD4350.
If you have the budget, a PSU upgrade will open up more options for better, faster cards (HD5770, GTX460, etc.)

If I were you, I'd do this to save $:
1. Get a GT240.
2. Not satisfied? Do the BSEL mod (search OCN for this) to give your CPU a slight bump for free. Be warned that there's risk of damaging the CPU.
3. Fail or not enough gaming power? Get a used LGA775 mainboard and migrate the other usable components to this board. This gives you the option to reuse the GT240 or get a better card and make the GT240 the PhysX/folding card.

Edit: For option 3, a PSU upgrade is a better investment than a faster card any day. Choking other components just to cheap out on the PSU is not cool.

the beast & Eekthecat,

i was thinking of going with the 5670 because it was made for Badcompany 2 and it is in my budget too and beast i will take the photo as soon as possible.......and Eekthecat - i tryed to add another micro processor like q6700 or q6600 but it was outofstock.and guys could you guess and tell me the fps i will get in Badcompany 2 after seeing that video i uploaded because if that has a 4350 overclocked and all settings on medium with 20-26 fps then how many wil i get with my 5670. and i also use a program called Gamebooster v2.3 (Latest Version), for more info about gamebooster got to http://iobit.com/gamebooster-premium.html......and could you tell that a 5670 can fit in my motherboard or no? My Motherboard Model ----> 0RF703
And brettjv i will try my best and thank you for the greetings....

Even if you could get a quad (Q6x00) CPU, I don't know if your Dell mainboard is compatible with it, so better use what you do have/can get. Save the money for the real upgrade.

Even if I play BC2, which I don't, I can't tell you how good it will run because my configuration is different from yours. You need inputs from those who share your CPU+GPU combo or close enough for estimation.

About fitting issue, am not familiar with OEM boards, but it should fit in theory. Better you take those photos first. Remember to take that of the PSU.

With a 5670 and playing at 1440 x 900 you should be able to maintain 30+fps with most things on high or medium - it'll definitely be playable and look reasonable anyway.

If you go for a 5670 then you won't be using too much power either, which means you should be good for a BSEL mod on your CPU to overclock that a little too without putting too much strain on the PSU. I wouldn't bother buying a quad - save your cash for a proper upgrade down the line.

Don't bother messing with your FSB through software - you won't get far, and are just likely to put a lot of time and effort into it for no real gain.

Just do a BSEL mode (info here) - do the 1066 -> 1333 mod, don't worry about a volt mod, and you'll be all set. I wouldn't mess with voltages or trying to go any faster - you'll end up screwing something up or having PSU issues.
