Here's a decent forum to check out on it:

This guy has some good videos showing off the device, and comparing it to other tablets (Ipad2):

Also check out some of the posts here, plenty of happy users loving their TF.

Netbooks are for people who want to do a little more than just surf the internet and playing Angry Birds. It's also for people who want to use a solid keyboard instead of a touch keyboard. I like the tactile feedback, even from my laptop. It's better than no tactile feedback. I also think netbooks are more customizable. You can switch out the stock parts to better parts for better performance.

I know which is why I loved his videos. Did you watch them? He was surprised at how good the TF was, and it's ability to keep up and often times surpass the Ipad 2.

And HybridCore: have you seen the TF at all? For the price of a decent netbook, you can buy the tablet with a real keyboard as mentioned earlier. No reason to use the touch keypad

I'm subscribed to him on YT.
He does do a good job on reviewing tablets, but he does always favor Apple products when it comes down to a head to head.

When OC'd the Transformer will be a monster of a tablet. Though taking a hit in the battery life.

Tablet = more fun
Netbook = more work

If you get a netbook, I highly recommend the Lenovo Thinkpad X120e.

I can see that for sure. I just wanted to post that video because that is the one I watch that, oddly enough, actually sold me on the Transformer.

Based on what you want to do, I would suggest a tablet. I have a netbook and sometimes I think it's overkill and still too heavy.

Wait till the 1.7 GHz OC kernel gets stable at XDA. :3
