GTX570 Problem? - Page 2

Hmm. That's not going to bottleneck at your resolution. 80% GPU usage at that resolution with only 30 FPS is extremely odd, especially since Rift isn't exactly Crysis the MMO. Check that Vsync is off, though I'd be surprised if that was the problem, my 570 handled rift maxxed with a higher resolution. In afterburner, on the main screen, what driver version is shown?

Ah. That's the problem. 275.27 beta is brutally bugged. Download 270.61 (the current non-beta driver) and do a clean install.

No need. Just when you start up the new driver install, don't do express, do custom and click the checkbox for clean install. If you did want to uninstall first, just grab it from add/remove programs and it'll launch the uninstall program, restart, then do a normal install on the 270.61.

For a MMO 40 fps is plenty, and I if i remember correctly, Rift has some options that really ramp up the GPU intensity. If you want to get a solid 60 fps, drop the AA down to 4x or 2x, at your resolution you'll never tell the difference.
