SilverStone Fortress FT03 cooling question

Thread Starter
Hi,

Im looking for a new computer case and found the SilverStone Fortress FT03. Im using the Corsair H70 cooling and Im guessing that "watercooling" system relies on a steady supply of cold air alot. I saw that the main exhaust for this case is all the way at the top of the case, will this decrease cooling capablities of the watercooling alot since all the hot air will pass at the top ? Looks like this case isnt well suited for a "watercooling" solution like the corsair one :S ?

Thanks!

Which Corsair are you comparing the FT03 to, the 700/800D?

Anyway, the FT03 was never designed with WC support in mind, though the H70 will fit. Now about your temperature concern, I doubt it will make a big difference no matter how you mount the H70 in the FT03.

Btw you registered in 2006, hello oldie.

If you are wanting to go watercooling I would suggest a different case, this is meant mostly for air cooling it looks like, but like said before it can fit a watercooler but if you wanted w/c try another case, something big like haf 932 or the nzxt phantom as they're nice and roomy

Mount the H70 to the Radiator Mount on the lower fans.

Hello there, care to elaborate why that's the case?
