Need help with Old motherboard Post beep codes

Ive spent the last 3 hours trying to fix an old PC that we had laying at home.
It had a Geforce 6800gt, an AMD athlon 64 (not sure of how many cores), some Kingston Ram and a MSI k8n neo motherboard.

The motherboard:

I tried to power up the computer a few minutes ago, and to my suprise, the computer started when I switched the PSU on confused.gif
The front panel wires are correctly positioned, as I checked.

The beep code I am getting is as follows.

1 Long beep for about 2 seconds
4,5 seconds silence
1 Long beep for about 2 seconds
4,5 seconds silence
etc...

What would you think the problem may be?

That might help.

But it might be a dead video card if no display.

I only had the power cord connected, no screen, mouse or keyboard.

Do I have to have a Keyboard connected? Will it not boot without one?
