I took the shroud off to apply a 80mm fan set to intake air onto the heatsink, and as said previously, when I first put that fan on the temps dropped from mid 80s stock fan, to mid 60s even at full load with the 80mm on it...

I dunno why but recently its temps just shooting back up again.

can you route your cables through the back to get better airflow?

Turn that psu around and the fan will pull hot air into the psu and eject it out of the back.

The 465 needs to be cleaned big time. If compressed air does not do the trick, a little high% alcohol on a cheap paint brush like a pastry brush to get down inside the Little fins.

Just an odd question but, is the computer used in an environment where candles or tobacco is burned? Candles Ionize wax on the outer ring of the flame and that junk floats through the house looking for a cool area to land, usually the carpet, or some flat surface, but that stuff will cause a film on the hsf often and then the dust builds on top of it. Cigarette smoke does the same thing. The gpu cooler dont work well when its wearing a jacket.

I also believe the system as a whole would be better off with the 465 Shroud on. Sure the card may reach 80c, but the rest of the system wont. When I fold with min, I just go into MSI Afterburner and turn the fan to max, and it stays around 65c. When I game it goes to like 70c.
