Clearly states from paypal you have absolutely no protection if you choose the paypal gift option so I don't know where you get 45 days.

I wouldn't trust that link.
They probably just sell technet keys.

As stated, you can get a $30 Pro version if you have a .edu e-mail from a legitimate source.

The only time that would be reported, is if someone was already scammed. By that time it's too late. Those post in your former links should be reported anyways for violating paypal's user agreement.

Also, those links I removed are likely from a technet code scammer for sure. ANY time someone requires you paypal them money as a gift, you need to beware. When you gift you essentially give up the protection that paypal offers you (which is why you pay the fees in the first place). It is for this reason that we don't condone requesting gift payments in Overclock.net's marketplace. Doing so removes the protections in place for both parties involved (mostly the buyer).

Here is further proof of what I was saying

No. You may be able to get your credit card company to refund you the payment, but paypal will do next to nothing for you because you removed your right against frauds by also violating their terms of use (as detailed in the link I provided).

This is the way to go. You can get a student discount from somewhere (dreamspark maybe? Don't remember if they do OSes or just software).
