out of both these reviews the biggest gain in cooling performance from the h60 over the h50 was 3 degrees. i definately think the h60 is a lot more aesthetically appealing however.
Other posters on OCN have also commented on the H60 having a much better mounting structure compared to the 50. If it means not having to mess with it, it's almost worth the extra clams right there imo.

a very good ram choice for you would be a kingston hyperX 2x2gb kit, then you will have the same motherboard, graphics card, cpu, and ram as me, and i can honestly say they are a winning combination.

if you want cheap water cooling, get the h50 or h70. the h50 and h60 perform very similar 1~ degree or so different, but i would suggest holding off on watercooling and saving for a little while and look into a XSPC rasa watercooling kit, its got a resovoir (no idea how to spell that) and pump in the same module which uses 2 5.25" drive bays and its cheap so would be perfect for getting into water cooling, if i go water cooling i will definately buy a xspc rasa 750 360 kit.

edit: here is a video with the rasa kit im talking about.
it comes with different sized radiators too.

im using that ram and have nothing but good things to say!
i got it very cheap and managed to drop the timings and incready the Mhz

You should hold off on the aftermarket cooler for now then dude, you can still do mild overclocks with the stock cooler (im at 4ghz) then you can wait and see if you really need it. i can play pretty much any game i want pretty much maxed out and i have the card your getting too. im not talking 16x anti aliasing here or ubersampling on witcher or anything like that but i do max out crysis warhead with 2x anti aliasing 1080p 40fps

I was thinking I'd like to approach 4.5ghz. Maybe I'm wrong, but I was thinking anything above that could be considered fairly extreme, but at 4.5 and under I should be good with something like the H60. Am I off-base here?

Dude, don't do this ^. You just gave the whole world access to your email address. All it takes now is for one twisted person to use this on a random site and you will average 50 spam emails a day. If you wanna befriend someone, I suggest you put your details in a PM.

Also, forgive me but you seem too eager to be friends with him ...

Anyway, on the H60 vs. H50. The H60 is essentially a sleeker, more quiet H50. Cooling performance won't increase generally, you'll just have less noise for the same performance... and I like quiet systems

Having second thoughts about the 560 gtx ti. Is it true that the Radeon HD 6870 would perform just as well in all but the most extreme gaming applications?
