Halo has a subscription fee? Hmm, I've had a 360 for a few years, (granted all I use it for is NHL) and I never heard of Halo charging a subscription fee. Source?

I love how your avatar fits perfectly with the text.

But screw Call of Duty anyway, it's a terrible excuse for a modern video game.

I've been a fan of Halo since the first one came out and I've never heard of this subscription.

You're not forced into paying extra to play the game. It's the same concept as Halo's subscription online community. The exact same thing if not "better". I mean, I wouldn't pay for it anyway - but jeez you people will just JUMP on the opportunity to bash something to eternity just for the sake of doing it. Seriously, it's just plain sad at this point. Take it easy, Activision isn't making it so "you have to spend monthly fees to play our game and get additional content!" Most of it is community-orientated crap and they ~might end up getting some extra goodies. Does it honestly matter that much? It's the same thing as what Halo has been doing for quite some time.

I don't see anyone knocking Halo and its subscription like that. Practically never have I heard someone actually try to. But now that Call of Duty has it - it's gotta be a big deal?

Yea but they keep taking things away that were free and are now charging for them the more people just let it go the more they will take advantage of everyone why? because they can because they know people will think its something new and just pay for it.

Activision executives said they haven't yet figured out how much to charge for the service, but they expect the cost to be less than fees for comparable online-entertainment services, such as a $7.99-a-month Netflix Inc. movie subscription.
In what possible way is CoD content comparable to a Netflix subscription?
