what is you idle volts

Thread Starter
can some one post there 2600k with a fixed 5ghz stable.
idle volt in cpu-z
I hope you all under stand me
when i say fixed no downclocking on the cpu.
Iam just trying to figur thinks out i have to be dumb.
say i set my offset v in my bios to 0.060 v for a 4.8 o/c
and i run that 4.8 at a fixed o/c it satys at 4.8 all the time.
Now when i open cpu-z this is at idle the core v is 1.400
Ok now if i run say superPI the core v go down to 1.360
.
so dose that all look right to you.
see in my head i think my core v at idle should be 1.360
and 1.400 at full load.

be cuss ant my cpu running at 1.400 all the time when im at idle.

Your volts will drop under load because of vdroop, that's fine. Just make sure your LLC is on "Ultra High" as this will generally yield the best overclocking performance.

Don't use offset v, use manual.
