H70 and Q6700

Hey guys,

Just bought an H70 and installed it on my C2Q Q6700. OC'd to 3.2Ghz, I want 3.6Ghz that is why I bought the H70 to replace my Scythe Ninja. Temps are about the same as they were with my Scythe.

Idle: 42,42,34,37
Load: 67,67,59,60

Vcore is 1.41. I used the heatsink compound that came pre-spread on the H70 instead of some Arctic Silver 5 I had. Should I have reapplied it myself?

Seems like the temps are crazy to me.. H70 is on the exhaust.

Welcome to OCN!

Are the fans speeds up? The H70's stock TIM is great. Dont touch it.

Which fan speeds are you referring too? The fan speeds on my Antec 900 are up.

If you have a top fan then you can set it up as intake in the rear.

Yes. Very good Shin-Etsu, for that matter.

So you think I should set my top fan as intake? That's easy.
