[HWC] Corsair Announces New Carbide Series of PC Cases - Page 9

Glad to see cases from corsair that fit into the poor mans budget. The 500R looks decent but the 20 hole side panel looks pretty stupid. I know the extra holes are there to support other fan setups but if you include a decent 200m fan then there isn't a need to fill the window with four 120mm fans. It would look much better/cleaner if the mesh was just big enough for the 200m fan with just the four mounting holes for it.

500R is sexy.

500r definitely sexy. Kinda wish I waited to see how these would compare to the 800d I just purchased.

I'm really liking the look of the 500R. Time to find an excuse to put together a new build later this year =D

both great cases, they have a awesome case lineup now hitting all the right spots. I bet a 800D refresh will hit by the end of the year.

It would be nice if they did refresh the 800d. Maybe add user changeable panels like the Lian li or add fan holes for a quad rad on top.

I like these also. I bet they are light, unlike my 800d which needs a fork lift to maneuver when filled with water.
