I have both and I have to say I love them. Like you I'm a palm gripper and I've found this the most comfortable mouse i've ever used. I split 50% gaming 50% graphics and editing with it... And I use it 8 hours a day five days a week. And I've never once had arm or wrist fatigue from it. As a pure gaming device I could see that people might find it a little cumbersome but for me (with my possibly oddly shaped hands) it's great.
