It says it right on the board, so I'm pretty sure it does. In fact I believe it will do tri-sli?
i was looking at the spc sheet and on the UD7 it only listed Xfire (compare the sheets)

i was thinking it was a typo

Thats funny the UD5 has sli listed under the expansion slot section. But your right it's not listed in the UD7.
Some AM3+ mobos support SLI but is not claimed in the mobo due to licence problems.

The UD5 is ready for pre-order on NICX Canada for $199.99

And it seems I was correct in saying it'll be ~300 and not 'way under 300'

Esp since I did my first calculations including tax. Meh, at least it's not 350+.

Why no UEFI? Seems that's the way managing a system is going, and with Asus releasing their BD boards with it, makes me wonder why other MFG's aren't.

In response to the above...

that's more expensive than any current amd board. This is not good

Edit:

2500k on newegg $225
2500k on amazon £163 inc vat, minus 20% vat = £130.40

225 u.s. Dollars = 136.59 british pounds

130.4 british pounds = 214.81 u.s. Dollars

so expect that mobo for way under $300

Plus as i said, these are pre-release prices, retailers (at least over here) always try it on with higher prices prior to release, because they know some will pay over the odds to be the first owners. Seriously, that mobo will be at least ~£20 cheaper within a week.
Pre release and launch prices are always higher, plus when theres only one retailer offereing the boards, wheres the competition? You were spot on with your eventual guess, but that won't be the real price for long

The UD7 looks my top choice so far for a new mobo... It looks like they haven't changed the layout of the heatsinks on them from the 890 series... I have a GA full chipset water block set from my old mobo I wanna throw on it. Bling time! Wonder what color tubing I should use for the new board...?
