The HX1050 replaces the aging HX1000, which was based on the obsolete Channel Well PUC design. The new HX1050 appears to be based on the Channel Well DSG-1000 Gold, tweaked for 1050W with 80PLUS Silver instead. This is the same design as the HX750 and HX850.
The AX650 will be a rebranding of the SeaSonic X660, which as we all know is a fine unit.
