How to update the BIOS on Asus M4A77TD Pro?

Right, I've downloaded the latest BIOS from the Asus website (needed to support my particular Phenom 965 BE I've just bought)

I actually do not know how to update the BIOS. I know it can be done through Windows, but don't know how. How do I do it, as my processor is arriving on Thursday and I need to update it before then.

Thanks, but I bit the bullet and did it through the Asus EZ Flash utility in the BIOS.

Was simple, all I had to do was download the latest BIOS ROM, put it on a USB stick (my 2GB FAT formatted Cruzer Micro did the job, YMMV), went into the utility and found the file and pressed enter.

However, check your settings afterwards. Afterwards, it DISABLED Plug and Play OS, which is needed for Windows 7 (and others OS's) to work properly and boot. It needed re-enabling, which luckily was only one setting
