Would someone help me OC my X6 1090t? - Page 2

Good news is that Crosshair IV board has a ton of users and a ton on 1090t's @ 4ghz+ on it, so I'm sure they will get you squared away.

Isn't the "auto" 3.7ghz the turbo core? it's just 3 cores at 3.7ghz?

Make sure your ram is getting it's 1.6v and all too. I would post my 4ghz overclock, but went back to 3.7ghz the other day. I still don't understand it, but it took a new GPU to prove I had a (apparently) unstable overclock.

If you could post a screen shot with CPUZ open to the CPU tab and the memory tab, it would be a lot easier for us to help you out.

Make sure your memory is running 1333mhz (667mhz) and that it has correct voltage + timings (put it manually). Disable Turbo Core / Cool and Quiet. Also put CPU vcore to something like 1.5v. Leave rest voltages on AUTO. Now raise multiplier so the processor is running at 4ghz. Boot and see if it goes windows + start stressing it. If it doesnt run straight 4ghz on specific multiplier you can lower it (lets say 3.9ghz), and start raising FSB until its 4ghz (Need to use memory divider so memory wont run over 1333mhz).

My english aint that good, hard to explain with words Also dont have much experience from BE overclocking.
