Samsung Galaxy S II

Thread Starter
Does anyone have an idea of when this is coming out in the states? I been holding out for this and I'm using a unlocked iPhone 3g w and cracked screen, broken hold button and no volume rocker. Been drop many times and I think the proc is effed up cuz it lags up a lot! I need a new phone but I have tmobile and the only other thing that looks good is the sensation but I really don't want it. I've been following new for the Galaxy S II but maybe I missed somthing. Anyone know anything? I need this phone!

They're apparently only available to order in the UK and India right now. Knowing US carriers, they'll be essentially forcing Samsung to create different variants so they're "unique" which will add time to manufacture these variants. Thus, gonna take some time.

I haven't heard any news about the Samsung galaxy s2 coming to T-mobile, it will be called the Attain for AT&T, the Function for Verizon, and the Within for Sprint. No idea on a release date but it is supposed to be a flagship summer phone.

edit: Actually, the phone may have a T-mobile variant called the Hercules, still no idea on release date.

The Hercules is a different phone. I think the variant hasn't been announced for tmobile because it will b self titled the galaxy s II

At this point, I think I'll just go with the Evo 3D and wait for the next Nexus phone
