Is this a good price for an OEM Intel DX38BT?

I'm putting together a Core 2 Quad system, and I can snag an Intel DX38BT motherboard for $70. I don't know much about prices for this platform, but it is in great condition. It's suitable for me, because this runs at 16x/16x and I plan to SLI in the future, and it uses DDR3 RAM which I can put into a future build.

So, is this a good price? or should I try to find a Gigabyte P45-UD3 for a decent price?

What exactly is wrong with it? I know it has a low overclocking ceiling. How much should this board go for?

Well it's a Intel OEM motherboard and it can't get worse than that..

Plus X38 chipset runs very hot and it's tough nut to crack when overclocked..

Plus X38 does not support native SLI..

Look for a P45 motherboard which OC like dream..

They don't support SLI by default, but you can use SLI hack in order to run SLI..

Look for any of these:

Gigabyte EP45 UD3P/DS4/DS5/DQ6

Asus P5Q Premium/Deluxe/E/Pro Turbo/Pro

They all are P45 and support CrossFire(and SLI via hack) and DDR2 memory..

CHEERS..
