I got to 4.012 on a EVGA P55 SLI with I5-760
cpu x = 21
CPu Freq. 191
MCH 1600
No VDroop < EVGA Setting only??)
bootup and Eventual CPU Vcore = 1.275
CPU VTT bootup and Eventual = 1.250 < ill double check when I get home >
PCH Voltage 1.20
CPU PLL 1.85
DIMM Voltage 1.50 (8-8-8-24 1600 @ 1.5v Ram)

I idle at 32c
Prime load at 65-68c with the H50

All Power managements disabled
C1E
SpeedStep
C-State

to get 4.2, you going to need more voltage ( more heat ). and probaby loosing the memory timings..

You'll need to set the RAM multiplier so that it's 4x or 1066MHz so the RAM doesn't overclock past 1600 MHz.

As for guides on overclocking P55/i5-760, read the LGA1366 guides on i7-920. The settings are mostly similar.

I can't remember my exact settings, but I have a 760 @ 4.1 GHz.

I reached 4.3 originally but it was unstable past 30mins - 1 hour of use, so I slowed it down a little.

I idle at 35-48 and full load at 70-75 with a Hyper 212+ whilst my ambient temp is about 18*-22*

4.2ghz isn't going to be achievable on an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro.

What are your load temps at 3.3ghz? Depending on how high your ambients are, you might not be able to go to or past 4ghz even I would imagine.
