Buying a new card(s)

Thread Starter
I just ordered a third monitor and i need another video card. My problem is that i currently have an xfx 5770 on a EVGA P55 FTW board. I read you should only SLI rather than crossfire on this particular motherboard.

I don't overclock my GPU's, i'm a gamer but i don't need the latest **** on the market to play COD/fall out/rift. I need a good budget SLI setup (i presume) for around $350.

I've been out of the loops of this stuff since i bought my current system, right around when ATI came out with the 6xxx series. I just need what's gonna scale best in eyefinity on my mobo.

Then SLI and CF isn't what you need.

Go for a GTX 570 or 5870/6950

But if you do insist on SLI try some gtx 460 1gb.

GTX 460 1gb x2 might be what i go for. I can only imagine the driver issues i'd have pairing up my 5770 with a 570.

It might be cheaper to take my gigabyte p55a-ud3 board out of my other rig to just grab another 5770, but then i would feel like the evga ftw board will go to waste .
