Well, there's a reason everyone has it

This makes me sad... guess I am glad I made some trades for a 2600K though... really was hoping for a Bulldozer build this month...

There's a reason everybody has a 2500K, for gamers, it is the best Price / Performance CPU available right now.

If you'd rather wait for Bulldozer, suit yourself.

It's time to retire my sig, I'm no longer waiting. Lucky for me, I can buy either AMD or Intel, which ever gives me the best performance for my budget. I'm not stuck into buying from 1 camp. The AMD fanboys call me a fanboy, LOL, while they're the ones stuck with sub-par performance, and also waiting for the almighty BD to come out.

Honestly that's a very silly reason not to get a good chip. Its succrsful for a reason, and by saying that your basicly saying " I don't want this awesome chip, I think ill get this potentially worse chip for the lone reason of the fact that everybody else has one"

Well, i also see a lot of 1090T CPU's as well lol. But the 2500k is a hard buy to pass up, all i have to do is decide what board to get to go with it.

Yeah? Thats funny, i surf this forum all day and in the time SB has been out, 5 months, I already would be willing to bet there are more. I agree with the second part though.

Yeah but that takes the thrill out of finding out what it can do. Its liked a dumbed down chip you just change the multiplier and voltage if needed and head off. Computer enthusiast and overclockers love to tweak and try different things and a new chip thats very powerful is heaven.

Most people that have 1090Ts on this site bought them long before Sandy bridge released. Obviously, there is no reason to buy AMD right now.

That being said people should just make there own decisions. My rig runs fine and I am not in dire need of a proc so I will wait. If the delay extends into Q4 or next year then I will think about Intel.

4.5 - 5 GHZ easily attained on AIR isn't fun?

You are just grasping at straws.

You might as well just say you only buy AMD because that is your preference, and you enjoy the challenges that it brings such as delays, and you love the challenge of dealing with rehashed chips, that they sell as new.

2500K is the best price/performing chip available by either AMD or Intel.

Don't knock it, just 'cuz you're loyal to getting Bulldozer, despite everything we are hearing.
