Also, i heard good things about the SB MSI mobo's any thoughts?
I am not suggesting anything to you. To each their own.

General Comment....
If I needed a cpu now then I would go Intel, but I don't -- so I will wait for AMD. I certainly do prefer AMD, but there is logic behind it as well. Given the type of games I play @ the settings I use (one of them being v-sync) I will benefit in very few situations from a faster CPU. Going SB/BD is about 90% for epeen with is why I rather wait for my preferred company. Now if the wait gets absurd or if the delivered CPUs are not noticeably better than Phenom then it's Intel.

Everybody has their reasons. I don't see the point is criticizing people for waiting or buying Sandy .

Argument aka a statement made to justify your position on an issue.

I completetly understand the reasoning that you prefer a more hands on approach to OCing, however, I know for me at least, it would be hard to live with knowing I could have had a much better performing processor, for the same price.

You brought about any negative fanboy connotations when you referred to anyone buying 2500k as part of a "herd". As I said, your argument is emotional, not logical.

I am not sure why the OP even bothered psoting this, it will be dismissed by all the FANBOYS and MODS moving/deleting it anyway.

When will OCN wake up the the news that it has infact been delayed? When you have 50+ review and other sites reporting the same thing, the chances are very likely it is the case.

No one is denying the delay.
AMD clearly stated by the roadmap presented that it was pushed back to Q3.

Cuz the Intel fanboys get on here ranting and raving because AMD has a slight delay to make there product not come out and be a flop like the Sandy Bridge chipsets were. And with Ivy Bridge already been pushed form late this year to April of next year and who knows what the final release day will be, these post give them some satisfaction that maybe, just maybe, AMD's highly anticipated Bulldozer will be delayed. Even though there is still a month left before that can even happen. I kinda hope they debut it on the last day of june and release it in stores by mid July just to P.O. Intel fanboys cuz then it cant be called delayed.

Naturecannon already posted a screenshot from AMD's stream last night:
http://www.overclock.net/13708935-post509.html

I'm pretty sure most interested members on OCN are already aware of the 60-90 day timeline. You might want to read the threads more thoroughly before making those accusations.

Everyone just needs to relax

If you're 100% sure you're going AMD, awesome, just buy a new AM3+ motherboard in the upcoming weeks to appease your thirst for new tech and run it on a Phenom till Bulldozer is out. No big deal. You can technically build an entirely new PC right now and just temporarily skip out on the processor upgrade, and you'll probably still be happy knowing you got some new tech. That's more than Intel folks could do during the Cougar Point recall.

A CPU ain't the only thing you can upgrade on your rig. Monitors, graphics cards, sound cards, audio system, peripherals, etc. There's so much--don't get why people focus so heavily on just a single aspect.

Intel folks, no big deal. You already got great tech for a great price. It took a little waiting with the recall, but all good things tend to take a little time. Can't completely hate on the AMD folk just cause they gotta wait a little, just like we had to wait a little when things needed sorting out.
