Possible to have the output on the same side as the input on crossfire cards?

Not sure how to word it but I want the water to enter the first card go through the second card and then back out the first card. Would make my loop a lot neater but im not sure if its pssible. Thoughts?

run them in parallel not series. problem solved.

How do I set that up. I have compression fittings on the input and output but im using fesser sli fittings between the cards

In series, short answer: no. Just draw it out...

How could fresh water come in the input of card 1, exit the output of card 1, go in the input of card 2, go out the output of card 2, go back to card 1 (and connect to what?), and exit a different output of card 1 than the one that is already outputting to card 2?

Parallel would work like this

Yea thats what I want. But how does the water flow through the top card and not just bypass the block an and pass straight through

It works through pressure. The water will follow the path of least resistance. Therefore half will go through block 1 and half through block 2 if they are identical blocks. (although I imagine block 1 would get slightly more flow than block 2 because it has less stuff it needs to flow through, but they should be essentially equal.)
