ASUS warranty - They bent my motherboard and sent it back to me

Alright, so I sent in my RMA'd my motherboard and they sent me back my motherboard with a bent corner. It doesn't even look like they repaired anything! mad.gif I read about them doing this before so I made sure I took pictures before I sent the motherboard out and included it in the package.

mad.gifmad.gifmad.gif

Third photo is how it looked BEFORE I sent it in -_-

Update #1:
I emailed ASUS, and they told me to speak with a 2nd level RMA tech. I called in and the first thing they said was that my RMA was probably denied because of the bent corner! I had to explain to them again that the bent corner was NOT there before I sent the item. The representative said that they do not have much information about my case and they'll have to call a different department first before they can give me a response. I should be receiving a call-back some time today.

Hm...If this does not go well, I'm still buy an ASUS product if there is a good deal but I WILL definitely make sure people know about their warranty service.

Update 2: They just called saying the motherboard was damaged during shipping. So now they are going to send a replacement board and put a hold on my credit card until I send back the bent one with a prepaid label.

I am waiting for their E-mail for forms to fill out.

Hopefully, the next motherboard will work.

Are you sure it is your motherboard?

Have you check to see if it was actually fixed?

Care to post some pictures?

I am 100% sure it's my motherboard because it has my serial # on it.

I haven't checked to see it it was actually fixed because I do not want to mess with it and have them blame ME for bending it and giving it that scuff.

It isn't the first time and nor will it be the last time asus does this. I went through 6 boards because of this same issue. Each board they would return to me, you could take it and spin it on a table. That is how bowed up it was when i got it back. Not sure if it is a moisture, humid issue in their warehouse that is causing the bowing though. But they could look the board over a little better before they send them out though.

But be there done that and got the Asus shirt.

*Meanwhile at the ASUS RMA dept*

*snicker* "Hey guys, let's just damage peoples RMAs and send them back!"

"Wow that's how we'll show the competition customer service!"

This happened to someones EVGA 790i a while ago, sent it back so bent it was absurd. here

I think they try re-flowing the motherboards and they warp, and are simply sent back without testing.

You know it doesn't suprise me. I have always had issues when it comes to ASUS RMA. Thankfully out of the 15 or so ASUS board I have owned only two have needed an RMA.Their boards are great their RMA... Eh not so much.
