Are my idle temps unusually high?

Hey guys I feel like my idle temps for my system are pretty high. My CPU idles at 40C (stock speeds), my mobo at 34C, and my graphics cards at 38C (stock speeds). I live in South Carolina and the summer heat is already here so daily temps are around high 80's through low 90's. My room temp is probably low through high 70's.

I have some pretty good cooling parts (look at my sig rig). Should my temps be this high?

Temps don't look unreasonable, at a small overclock without voltage my temps on CPU are 45*C but I have terrible airflow. My GPU idles at 60*C but that is due to it being a dual pcb gtx 295 with bad case airflow. I don't think you have anything to worry about especially if your ambients are higher than normal.

I think you're alright, but you should test load temps to see what they hit. They're what matters anyway.

Well when playing games, (shogun 2, Witcher 2, and BC2). My g-cards get around 60-70C and my cpu is usually around 60C as well. I know my load temps are fine, but I just feel like with my case and fans that it should be a little cooler.

Well, your idle temps are roughly where mine are, though I have a fairly hefty overclock on my i7. With your CPU, you should be seeing a little lower, but it's really nothing to be concerned about. If you want you can try to reseat the cooler. Graphics card and mobo are fine, though if the temp reading is accurate for ambient temp in the case, that would explain the 40C idle. You may have inefficiencies in your airflow pattern causing higher than normal temperatures in the case.

The idle temps don't look too bad. How high do they go under full load?

Thanks for all the replies guys your help was appreciated. After some thought I went out and bought a window AC unit, my room is a cool 65 degrees now. I also cleaned out my dust filters in my case (they were absolutely covered in dust). My idle CPU temps are now at 36C with a overclock to 3ghz and my mobo is now at 26C. Now I'm going to readjust my heat sink and reapply the thermal compound.

Like always ambient temps and dust are the worst enemy for air cooling setups.
